AFL Welcomes Joe Kelly of Triad Consulting Corporation
February’s AFL luncheon will feature Joe Kelly, co-founder and CMO of Triad Consulting Corporation in Scottsdale, AZ. He will be speaking on How Relationship Optimization Brings New Strength to Agency-Client Relationships.

The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2007 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1040 P Street. Networking and registration begin at 11:45 a.m. with the luncheon program beginning at noon. Be on the lookout in the next week or two for outdoor, radio, TV, posters and a redesigned website (launching Feb. 8) promoting our public service partner, the Autism Family Network.

2008-2009 Public Service Information
On March 1, we will start accepting applications for our next public service project. The nomination form will be posted on the AdFed site by Feb. 29. The non-profit organization will need to complete the form, provide proof of non-profit status and show that it is exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c)(3).

Make plans now to attend the annual Meet and Greet Breakfast with Legislators on Thursday, March 6, 2008, 7:30am at Bread and Cup in Lincoln's Haymarket on the corner of 8th and S Streets.

Winterfest 2008: A Great Time Raising Money for a Great Cause
The temperature may have been in the single digits, but the party was HOT as over 500 people made their way to Embassy Suites Lincoln for the 7th annual Winterfest Ales & Auction hosted by the Advertising Federation of Lincoln. Proceeds from the event will benefit AFL's public service recipient, the Autism Family Network.

15th Annual ADDY Awards Held in Omaha
On February 2, 2008, aproximately 400 advertising professionals and college students attended the 15th Annual Nebraska ADDY Awards at the Hilton Omaha to recognize the most creative advertising developed in 2007. Out of more than 1,100 entries, approximately 40 Gold awards, which will be forwarded to the District ADDY Awards, and 180 Silver awards were presented, which are also eligible for the District competition.

Congratulations Kay Wunderlich, recipient of AFL's 2008 Silver Medal Award
The Advertising Federation of Lincoln is pleased to present the 2008 Silver Medal for outstanding contributions to the advertising profession and the community to Kay Wunderlich, National Sales Manager at KLKN television.

Kay started her association with the Lincoln Advertising Federation in 1988. She served on the AFL committee that created the Nebraska ADDYs more than ten years ago
