AFL Welcomes Mickey Brazeal of Roosevelt University – March Luncheon Speaker
March’s AFL luncheon will feature Mickey Brazeal, a faculty member of the Integrated Marketing Communication department at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Mickey knows what it takes to successfully plan and execute effective communication programs for diverse audiences.

The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1040 P Street. Networking and registration begin at 11:45 a.m. with the luncheon program beginning at noon. Cost to attend is $14 for students, $16 for members, and $21 for non-members. For more information, or to make your reservation, please call 434-6664 or e-mail info@adfedlincoln.org. AFL Presents The 5th Annual Gutterball Classic, March 29, 2008
The theme of this year’s Gutterball Classic is “Be a Rock Star.” This is your chance to become your favorite rock star – if only for one glorious evening! Prizes will be awarded for the most original attire. We are looking for teams of 4-6 bowlers, so grab your co-workers and get a team together! The entry fee is $60 per team (checks payable to Advertising Federation of Lincoln).

2008-2009 Public Service Information
On March 1, we will start accepting applications for our next public service project. The nomination form will be posted on the AdFed site by Feb. 29. The non-profit organization will need to complete the form, provide proof of non-profit status and show that it is exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c)(3).
